Great Achievements Made Through Great Adversity
—How to Correctly Understand the Great Historical Contribution of the Communist Party of China

Abstract: After the magnificent 95-year struggle, the Communist Party of China (CPC) created a unique revolutionary road, and led the people in successfully overthrowing the "three big mountains", accomplishing the new democratic revolution, and establishing New China, making itself the dominant force in the development of Chinese society in the 20th century and getting China to move forward in the right direction. CPC created a unique socialist revolutionary road, led the people in establishing the basic system of socialism during the socialist revolution, and promoted socialist development, opening a new page in China's development in the twentieth century. The new great revolution of reform and opening-up led by CPC opens up the road of socialism with Chinese characteristics and shows unprecedented bright prospects for finishing building a well-off society in all respects, the basic modernization and the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
